Lafia, Nasarawa State – A medical doctor, Agyo Samson Agyo, was abducted alongside a companion in Lafia on Sunday night, August 4, 2024. Suspected kidnappers are believed to be behind the incident.
The abductors have contacted the family demanding a N50 million ransom for Dr. Agyo’s release.
Dr. Agyo is a key member of the Nasarawa State Hospital Management Board, serving as the Medical Superintendent of the state-owned Medical Center in Mararaba-Gurku, Karu.
