Pregnant woman arrested for burning her maid's buttocks in Abia

A pregnant woman was arrested by police in Abia state and taken into custody after she burnt her young maid's buttocks with a hot knife.


According to reports, the woman burnt the little girl's bum because she took too long when she was sent on an errand. It was also alleged that this is not the first time this kind of brutal punishment is being meted out on the little girl.

Blessing Ibanga, who shared the story on Facebook, said the police have decided not to prosecute the woman due to her condition.
